Product: SPSS Statistics
Heiko Klemm, Director Analyses and Processes, (r)evolution GmbH

The challenge: create 1500 customized reports. Analysing the data of an employee opinion survey where every department gets its own report isn't an easy task. (r)evolution, a consulting firm in Germany, was faced with just this challenge.
In this session, you'll hear how the task was made more difficult due to conditions surrounding the data, (e.g. a minimum number of valid answers), which had to be taken into account. Then you will learn, how using Python and the modules from SPSS Statistics, the task was made easier: as it was possible to transform, sort and restructure the data so that an automatic charting approach could be utilised.
For those interested in how predictive analytic software can be enhanced by Python and other programming languages, this session is a good primer on the basics.
